Working alongside architect Carrie Barron, we collaborated closely through the design process—providing ongoing pricing guidance to keep the project aligned with budget and vision.
The result is a thoughtfully designed home featuring an open-concept layout, dedicated office, guest room, and playroom. Elevated finishes throughout bring warmth and personality, creating a space that is both highly functional and truly feels like home.

West Colfax Infill with ADU
This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with a detached 1-bedroom ADU showcases smart infill development in West Colfax. Originally a 6,250 SF lot, a zone lot amendment allowed it to be split into two 3,000 SF parcels—each now featuring a single-family home with an ADU.
Located near the Perry Street light rail station, the project adds thoughtful density in a highly accessible neighborhood. Creative design solutions kept the build efficient and code-compliant, including a sunken first level that enabled a third story within height limits. Challenging soil conditions ruled out a basement, guiding a cost-effective approach.

Sloan’s Lake Historic Renovation
Originally built in 1929 on a generous Denver lot, this Sloan’s Lake home was taken down to the studs and thoughtfully reimagined. Initially intended as a personal residence, the project evolved following a zoning change and lot split, allowing for a new home next door.
A 500-square-foot rear addition expanded the footprint, while the original brick exterior and roof were preserved and painted to maintain neighborhood character. The 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath ranch includes a full basement and blends timeless charm with modern performance—featuring all-new electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems for today’s standards.
